Junior Achievement - Teach Children The Importance Of Financial Literacy With Junior Achievement: Use your experience to help guide the future success of students from grades 5-9. This is a unique volunteering opportunity for adults to go into the classroom and help teach kids about financial literacy, budgeting and decision making. Junior Achievement is a Partner In Education with the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Separate School Board, operating in Calgary and area for almost 50 years. We are looking for some great volunteers with business experience to help deliver programs in Calgary and Area. The Shawnessy YMCA is in desperate need of volunteers, particularly in the preschool and teen areas, for all locations, but specifically the Shawnessy facility. Volunteers Needed for MEOW Foundation - Help out MEOW Foundation while your children are at school. If you have one Monday to Friday morning available each week from 9am - noon, MEOW Foundation needs volunteers (over 18 years of age) to ensure rescued cats have a clean and healthy shelter to stay in until they are adopted.
